Re: Looking for EFA forum

drejo wrote:Dear All;

I am looking for Team_EFA. They say they are on EFNET but they don't state exact channel name.

Only thing I know is the channel is related to EDA Engineers.

Can you help me to find them?

Which Blacklist?

Were you detected for an open proxy? Were you told of a site to check for more information?

Did you add irc.efnet.us to be your 1st attempted server connect? Not sure why the servers with restricted i lines would be in the top level round robin rotation. This seems a bit counter intuitive to me also. I never use such round robins and connect directly to a server that is within my geographi...

Been around since '94 Not sure much can be done to improve IRC in general or EFnet specifically. Mudds are mostly gone. IRC given way to the gui chats. The International legal issues that have not already been resolved are for diplomats, lawyers and politicians to resolve and have no bearing on having an identification entry in the IRC profile listing page. Criminals will always have some excuse for not having an identification entry on the profil...

IF you are offerened the option of "Applying for a Public IP Address" when you sign in to the Hotel's Hi-Speed Provider, you may avoid this issue.
