They are displayed in the same list as all of the other servers. I don't see what isn't very easy about that :)

The current serverlist is only that, "a list". If you used to visit this page and saw our old ircdb which had updated server motd`s, current and max userload aswell as how many opers each server have operd up that is how it will look as soon as the coding is done.

I agree that we should have a field for ipv6 support aswell, that seems like a good idea considering the only dedicated ipv6 server left is irc.ipv6.homelien.no, while irc.efnet.nl, efnet.xs4all.nl and irc.aloha.net(?) isnt that eash to know has it.

i think that goes under the list of "coming soon to an efnet.info near you" items (ircdb that is). but as with many things, don't hold your breath, it could take some time.

Yes, efnet.xs4all.nl accept ipv6 clients, so does irc.efnet.nl. irc.aloha.net used to ( not sure if they do anymore ) and so did irc.csbnet.se ( old irc.*.chalmers.se ) but they decided not to do it because of all the abuse.

Nobody seems to have a good idea what EFnet's Ipv6 servers are, I guess this answers the question . Sounds like a good idea...

this came up in conversation yesterday. iirc (and i often don't), he said mod/irc was a work in progress, and once it's done, ircdb 2.0 would be quick and easy. but school being what it is (damn students!), his homework is taking precedence. in 6 weeks, semester ends and the webpage will actually become his homework (who he sucked off to get that, i don't know), and things will get done more quickly.

when we put the website up, it was (supposedly) understood that it would be months before everything was up, and what we have now is just the bare minimum. so far we've waited a month, so now we're only waiting on that s.

list of ipv6 servers

Actually, this list is not correct, looking at the efnet section.

There is currently 1 'open' ipv6 server, irc.ipv6.homelien.no.
The two dutch servers, irc.efnet.nl and efnet.xs4all.nl, allow ipv6 to the lucky few that have an I: line before we stopped accepting requests.
So, do NOT mail irc(at)efnet.nl, your mails about ipv6 I: lines will be ignored.

The dutch servers are working on a semi-automatic I: line request system which will hopefully be online soon.
