Server wide ban

Postby spasm » Thu Jan 10, 2008 10:27 pm

I joined your EFnet IRC to deal with some issues with my CSS clan and while doing It I joined a random channel to see what IRC was like. When I joined this channel I was immediately banned from IRC. When I tried to rejoin IRC it says my nick was in use and my IP address was banned. I friend told me this is called "Gline". I would very much like to be unbanned as this would has already started causing problems.

My Ip address is ip68-101-9-212.pn.at.cox.net

G-lines on EFnet generally expire within 24 hours. I see no ban for that IP on servercentral.

Yes, appearently there's more then one IRC. My friend says I was banned from irc.inter.net.il. I don't suppose you'd be kind enough to point me in the right direction of where I need to go to remove this ban?

I would just use another server. Try irc.efnet.us to connect to a random US server.
